Is that zenith one the room to room house speaker?

That's the only one I couldn't identify.

Nobody answered what that Zenith unit was, so I looked it up. I assumed it was a TV remote because we always had 25" Zenith consoles.

It is a TV remote control that was available from 1965-1972.
I didn't know they existed (we never had one), but apparently so. We didn't even get our first color TV until 1969 iirc.

The surprising thing to me is that it didn't need a battery.

I'm still baffled on why my dad didn't get one. He had to have any gadget when it came out new.

He paid $400 for a 4 function (+, -, ÷, x) digital calculator when they first came out in the early 70s. That would be $3,000 in today's dollars.

They got cheap by the end of the 70's. Banks would give them out free to new customers that would open checking and savings accounts.
