I told everyone that Derrick Brown was a can't miss prospect and I would take him before Young. Guess who is sitting on the bench now and take the punishment? DB will make his mark on the D-Line before his career is over, he is already being double-teamed and making plays 15 yards down field.

young is on his own planet. brown may be a good one, but i can see young starting his career in double digit sacks for the next 5 years. whats he got 2.5 already?

Your first issue is comparing the two...Chase is on a whole different level

What you're not getting is that they are two different positions and DB is such a force on the front line that they are already double-teaming him so primadonnas like Young are free to make plays.

If you think Chase Young is on a different level than DB then you don't know football.

No I told them all over the CFB at the other hoop.

Brown is a can't miss decade type future Pro Bowl player.

Young is going to be injury after injury and excuse after excuse for the 5 years he is in the league with 3 different teams.

I think the injury happened mere days after Young was called out for saying he was only playing for the money and had missed some OTAs.
 
Chase always seemed like the next Clowney. Dominant against tackles that will never play on Sunday, mediocre when facing real competition. NFL is full of real competitors and Chase looked average at best while on the field.

So glad Snyder got him and not someone good.
 
Hard to compare an edge rusher with an interior lineman but what I do think is Brown wouldn’t start on the Redskins. Allen and/or Payne >brown
