tOfficial B1G Thread

Congratulations to the Huskers for winning the Men's B1G Track and Field Championship.

And congratulations to the Iowa Hawkeyes for edging out those Huskers in the Men's 4X100 meter relay with times of 39.28 vs 39.31.

Atascocita High School from the Houston area ran 39.14. :yo:

Thats a freak of nature team though. They actually ran under 39 seconds, IIRC. Beat the national record that has stood since 1998 by almost a full second

think Duncanville also broke the 40 sec mark too IIRC

Edit..multiple schools did this year in TX

Winner in 5A also broke 40.

According to milesplit that wasn't even their best time.

38.94 is the PR. They have four kids averaging just 2/10 of a second behind Usain Bolts world record time while in high school. Insane. Granted your 2, 3, and 4 runners are always going to have faster splits bc they are already running when they get the baton but still crazy

The state track meet was very good this year. Even the lower classifications had some impressive performances.

FOX's first 3 selections. Not surprised. Those three games combined could top 40 million viewers.

Wow, both CBS and NBC had the chance at Bama vs. Wisconsin and both passed. I'm guessing that means CBS preferred Michigan vs. USC and NBC preferred Nebraska vs. Colorado with their first selections.

Here's the pod explaining the process if you like to nerd out on the business side of CFB like I do.
